December 2015 – Mission Manenberg was born through the realisation of the hunger of the community of Manenberg. Not merely for food, but for the prospect of hope, light and upliftment for a community from which great potential is possible.

Through the vision of those who not only saw the opportunity to bring enrichment to the community, but also the desire to get involved on a grassroots level to engage with the various role-players, the volunteers, stake-holders and others. Mission Manenberg was able to extend its reach into nearly the entire community.

Mission Manenberg has grown from humble origins to an organisation which is recognised by a large part of the community.
